Google Pixelbook Go review

Google has recently launched an update to its original Pixelbook. The new Google Pixelbook Go is the ultimate Chromebook. It features amazing battery life (taking 11 hours and 14 minutes to run the Chromebook down via alocal video playback test) and one of the best laptop keyboard can find anywhere. Ultimately it provides a lot of classy features for its price.

However, it still costs a relatively high amount of money for the avearage buyer to pay and doesn’t scale very well through its mid-high-end configurations, though, it’s still much more accessible than Google’s top-end Chromebook.

It comes with a 1.3GHz Intel Core i5 CPU, Intel UHD Graphics 615 (300MHz), 8GB DDR3 RAM memory, and 128GB eMMC drive storage capacity, as well as 2 USB-C ports.

It also has a 13.3-inch Full HD (1,920 x 1,080; 166 ppi) LCD touchscreen , and 1080p Duo Cam and the usual 3.5mm headphone jack
For connectivity you get Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac, 2×2 MIMO, dual-band) and Bluetooth 4.2

It has a moderate weight of 2.3 pounds (1,061g) so you should find it easy to carry around with its small size: 12.2 x 8.1 x 0.5 inches able tofit any bag.

It would be good if it had a few more features at this level of pricing, particularly a biometric login option. But, you’re also getting some advanced tech that’s you won’t even find in Apple’s most expensive laptops, i.e. a 1080p webcam.
